Hey folks. New to the forum here. I just brought home a 06' cbr1000rr and figure I better get in on some of the info this forum has to offer. A little about me; active Navy Corpsman stationed in Bremerton WA, from Texas, I've been riding friends bikes off and on for years but about 1 1/2 yrs ago I bought my first bike, a CBR F2, great bike, lots of fun, but wanted a little more torque and a newer ride so I just got the 06 cbr1000rr, with a whoppin 6mi on it so far, seems like It'll take a bit of getting used to, allot more agressive stance and riding position, not to mention the power. Better brakes, throttle response and the thing seems to turn itself! A few up-grades are on the way, the tail tidy kit, frame sliders and flush-mount LED signals, all the usuall do-dads. Really excited but cautious about the 1L bike, I'm a really conservative rider (wimp) but...so far so good. Anyhow, look forward to naggin you guys a bit over some info. Take care, be safe.
