Talking intro for newbie

hello all, just joined and i will have many questions in the coming days:

i am mostly a car guy, don't know much about bikes. i bought an uncompleted project in england a couple years ago and now am about to start driving it, a classic mini cooper with a CBR 1000 installed in the rear. these are a common upgrade to mini's in the UK and i am planing on using mine for a track day car. but first i need to verify that i do indeed have this engine and than try and find a source to rebuild the carbs on it. anyone that can help id the motor please email me and i will send you some pictures, thanks, jim
