Hey guys
i am seriously looking into buying a bike. I took the MSF class and i trust my self to start on a 600 (of course ill start slow). Since i dont want to buy a used 250 then sell it (or worry about selling it) then getting a 600... Which bike would be better for a beginner the cbr 600rr or the cbr 600 f4i? I was thinking about the r6 at first but reading forums sayin this bike isnt as tame, comfortable, or as easy to handle as the cbrs....sooo i im strongly considering the cbrs...also on my list (behind the cbr) is the ninja zsx-6r or 6rr....your response is greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm a tad short and skinny (stupid metabolism)...5'7" and around 130 lbs...

 

welcome to the forum! you can't go wrong with either CBR. the RR has a more aggressive riding position and isn't quite as comfortable as the F4i. as long as you respect the bike & know your limits you'll be fine. best of luck...

 

Just got the 600RR and love it! In my opinion is just looks so much nicer than the F4i, and is so unbelieveable to drive. Check out the pic!

Thanks for the compliments on the bike. I have been riding for 2 days! This is my first bike. I sat on both the F4i and RR and just like the agressiveness of the rr better. This bike truly is AWESOME!

I am 5'2.5". I started on a 250, sold it, then bought the F4i. So you can't complain about height to me....go with what feels better for you. The 2 bikes are positioned totally different....good luck!
