Default Newbie F4i

Hi, Just picked up a stock 06 600F4i with 1900 miles. Hi All!!!

Just came off a 01 FZ-1 And miss almost everything about it compared to the new 600, but I will adjust...

Looking for some quick advise, want to open her up for some more power, I use all I can get.

The 1/4 mile times for the 01 are 10.73 and the 06 is 11.23 or so, curious why that is? More restricted? The FZ I had did 10.7 stock...

I should be able to make enjoyable power with the 600 I hope.

Hello and welcome. You might want to post in the drag racing and general tech sections of the forum to get the specific answers you're looking for.

Sorry I can't help with performance . My wrenching ability only goes as far as basic repairs, but I think you'd be looking at remapping the F.I. or getting a full exhaust system if you want to see significant gains in power.

Hi and welcome Sharker!
Don't expect to get much more power out the 600 engine that what's is it right now. A pipe, A/F and PC MIGHT get you a precious couple of horsepower more but that's it.
My best et was 11.40 @ 120 mph so take that for what it's worth.

True. I've got all 3 and it doesn't feel THAT much faster than my buddy's F3.
