Hello, Hello!

Just wanted to stop in and sy hello to all members. I just purchased a 98 F3 w/ 12xxx. My only riding experience thus far has been w/ 150cc dirt bikes so this is going to be quite an adjustment! I have always liked the cbr and got a pretty good deal on this bike ($2300) and could not pass this up. The only problem w/ the bike is the top of the tank is smashed in for "tank wheelies." Not exactly my cup of tea but if I can get it fixed for a little cash, then it should turn out to be a great purchase. I don't really have a lot of tech know-how so I'm sure that I'll have a ton of questions, I offer thanks up front.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe & welcome to the boards. Definatly take a MSF class if you haven't yet. Dirt and street riding is quite abit different. Look around on ebay for deals on a tank. You will have to buy a new one to replace the dented in one. No real way to fix it.

Have you looked around for anyone to repair the tank?
