Default new to the street from ohio

hello everyone. im new to the street but i have been riding dirt since i was about 3 years old. about 2 days ago i bought my first street bike. its a 2002 honda cbr 600 f4i with 10,xxx miles. its got an aftermarket BOZ slip on exhaust with aftermarket (or so i was told) wheels with a red stripe design on the rim. other than that shes stock besides the smoked windscreen. the day after i bought it i took it down the street and absolutely love it. im hooked. compared to the dirtbikes the bike scares the crap out of me lol. puttin new brakes on her this weekend and gettin my temps and hopefully i can take her for the first real ride besides just down to the stop sign about 100 yards from here. then gonna sign up for a rider course to get the certificate for my licesnse. still kinda new to the fourm thing but ill try an put some pics up for u.[/IMG]

Welcome to the forum Kooner!

Congrats on the F4i.

Yes, take the safety course! It will pay dividends in the long run.

Look forward to your pics.

Very nice. Another new guy here just bought one that looks exactly like that. Those bikes are nice. I almost want to save up and just get an F4i or 600RR.

Looks great! Welcome to the F4i family, HIGHLY recommend the safety course. Even though you have a background in dirt bikes, you will learn some great stuff in that class.

Default 25 Dollars????

Here in Florida it is state law to have a motorcycle endorsement. All the classes cost around 250.00 and its a 2 day course.

Its dif from state to state. Many allow the course completion certificate to count for both the written & riding tests at the DMV.

But yes, you'll have to pass both the written & riding tests w/ the safety course to get that completion certificate to present to the DMV.
