Default new to street bikes

hey, ya'll, my name is dave i'm from southern oregon. i'm new to the street bike thing. just picked up a wrecked 93 f2 and am having trouble getting it started. i'm looking for advice from folks more knowledgable than myself. looking forward to riding it , and meeting others who ride. peace.

Welcome to the site. We have plenty of people here who can help you out. Also pick up a good factory service manual and a good haynes manual for your bike. Those are some great tools to help get your bike running.

Welcome to the family. There is so much knowledge on this site, we don't know where to start. So you start...ask questions as they come up. Create a list and post the entire list...don't make it too long though. We're here to help. Let's see some before shots.

thanks for everyone's input. i pulled the carbs and cleaned them again, they look spotless. the jets are clear and the float valves work fine. i know it's getting fuel from the tank, i checked that first. the new plugs i installed now appear to be fouled. this could be because i was trying to prime it by puoring a little fuel down the carbs before i reinstalled the ram air and tank, it will fire and run for a few seconds then die. any ideas? thanx.
