Default New to this site... HELLO ALL!!!!

I just went and got the title of a 1993 CBR1000F.
It was raining here and didn't want to miss out on a great deal.
Tell me this, does a honda with 39,XXX miles mean it is high miles?
I will post pics as soon as I get it home. It seems to be in excellent shape but not running. The PO said when he parked it he smelled gas and it would not start. Im hoping a gas line just fell off. LOL

Look for me on here a bunch. Love these forums and I will have plenty of questions.

i hope it is something simple to fix so you can get her road ready, good luck

Thanks, do you know if any of these are fuel injected in 1993?

Hey Brock, none of the 1kF's were injected. Leaky petcock most likely. Welcome and join us in the Hurricane section. The 1kF was originally call the hurricane. Edit your personals to reflect your geological location. There may be a member in your location and it helps when looking for parts.

I found the problem. The fuel line between 1 and 2 is leaking like turning on the faucet. Will I need to split the rack on these two to fix it? Id rather have a quick easy fix for this fuel joint pipe that is leaking.
Besides this, it runs great!!!

STILL waiting for the clowns at the shop to fix my bike. Ive been given the excuse that the parts are on order twice but its only been 10 days.
The price to pay for me being lazy.
