Default New to site. . . have questions. :~)

Hi everyone. I'm new to the site and am having a blast reading what everyone has to say. I am 20 years old and have been riding since I was 14. Never on a sport bike except a friends 919. I am considering buying a bike and was wondering, is it true that you don't have to have insurance if you finance through Honda? I know they will have higher apr rates but I really don't want to pay $2,000-$4,000 a year in insurance. Thanks in advance to all thos that will contribute.

each state may be diff, but fin thru american honda or a bank you will have to have full coverage ins. fin on the Honda card or any credit card only your state min are reqired. as long as you do not fin over $10'000 although i say if you ride it on the street HAVE IT COVERED! SEEN TOOOOOO many new bikes with 500 miles totaled or stolen!

You'll need full coverage if you finance.
