pictures first :
I just picked up a used 2006 CBR 600RR last week. I purchased it from Sky Cycle in Lunenburg, MA and picked it up this past Wednesday August 16th. The bike had 2,235 miles on it when I bought it and I have since logged about 300 miles on it. Apparently the first owner (who purchased it in May) had some problems paying for the bike and had to turn it back in. The bike is in near pristine condition and other than some dirt/grease around the chain area one couldn't even tell that the bike is used!
About me: I'm 23 and have been riding for about two years. I got my permit back in 2004 and learned to ride on my brother's '01 Suzuki Bandit 600S. I rode off and on for the past two summers logging maybe 1k miles total. Therefore, I still consider myself a fairly new rider.
Ok, time to go out for a ride I'll report back later

So I just finished installing a couple of mods:
1) R&R Cycles fender eliminator
2) Clear Alternatives Smoked Integrate Tail Lights
It took a little longer than expected (about 1.5 hours from start to finish) but I took my time and didn't want to mess up anyting or misplace pieces, as this was my first time taking the rear fairing off.
I'll be sure to get some pics up and post them.
P.S. Is there a regional moderator/coordinator for meets? I really want to attend a meet (if you guys & girls have them) before winter is upon the Northeast!
