just got my f4i. its my first bike and i love it. bought it two weeks ago and took it to the shop. two weeks and 1200 bucks later it's ready to ride! put new Pilot Road 2 front and back, all fluids, air cleaner, pads, etc... rode for about an hour yesterday eve and am really surprised at the power of the 600! my buddy has a 1000rr that he keeps immaculate/like new and i'm a little jealous BUT mine is paid for and has a few battle scars so i can ride without worrying about it, ya know? i really like this site and am looking forward to sharing a story or two of my own later! cheers!

Welcome to cbrf. Great looking f4i. As for jealousy of 1k, your wallet will thank ya with insurance and its always more fun when paid for. Great pick for a first bike. Forgiving enough to let you learn if careful, and powerful enough to keep your interest. Having riden both, 600 and 1000, even had a go on a elephant busa once, I must say, personally I love the 600 more. I can ride it better and am able to be quicker and safer cause its within my limits.
