Hello & Welcome!!

Try sitting on some bikes....usually starting smaller is better....go with what suits you better.

Take the MSF course first before you buy a bike. Make sure riding a bike is what you expect it to be BEFORE you buy one.

Then if you are still into it (and you'll probably be even more into it), go buy an inexpensive used bike... because you WILL drop it. Hopefully it will just be some little stupid something and nothing major. But replacing plastics on a newer bike really sucks!!

Oh yeah... Welcome to the forum!

I think I wil wait and take that course, because I talked to my mom this weekend and she freaked out when I just brought up the idea of getting one. So I think it may take a little time on convincing her, or in a year and half I will e graduating and moving out. Thanks guys

No matter what you do, take the course wheter it is 10 minutes away or 4 hours. Its worth it and will help you a lot, especially if you have never ridden!!!

BTW, Welcome!

lmao, convince?? mom?? those 2 words should have as little to do with motorcycling as ***** and blender.

just picking

but i agree with everyone else on the msf course, itll give you a chance to get your feet wet with motorcycles, before you go spending the big bucks on something you really dont know if you will like yet. (though im sure you will) take it slow, you'll have a blast.
