Dealers here usually won't let you test ride new bikes. Sometimes they will let you ride used bikes, if you're a serious buyer and look to be responsible. I don't think is a matter of theft, but a matter of wrecking it and they get screwed. There is another member here that wrecked on the way home, as well as countless videos of guys crashing in front of the dealership. Don't take it personal, it just may be their policy.
