Default New owner/member?????

Whats up, Well I am new to the site, and I may be the new owner of an 07 600RR soon. I have a couple simple questions.

What is the dealers purchase price on the 07 CBR 600RR? Is it O.K. to bargain for a lower price like you do when buying a new car?

What is the best/cheapest website for helmets (specifically the Arai and/or Suomy)?

Hopefully I'll be looking for some riding partners soon, but lets get the bike first! ; )

Peace

Welcome to the forum. Riding partners will be easier to find if we know where you are. Arai will not "mail order" their helmets so if you buy one, it's as is. Not sure about Suomy. It's hard to say where the cheapest place is because most of them make you contact them for a price. Just have to shop around. Word of advice... my Shoei had to be a size larger than any other helmet I've had, so you may want to try them on.

Welcome and keep us posted on the progress of the new bike... and sure it's OK to haggle. The 07 600RR is new and hot, so they may not be interested in haggling. Just poke around and do your shopping homework. +1 on posting up your location.... other members in your area may be able to point you towards a deal.

Welcome, Slatherson. Some of the websites have a measuring guide. You take a cloth tape and measure the circumference of your melon (about an inch up from your eyebrows), and then you can use that measurement to see which size helmet you need according to the chart. I'm sure it is not fullproof, but it worked perfectly for my KBC. Also, Ebay is where I got my helmet, and I saved about $50 (including shipping).
