Hello
I just became the proud owner of an 87 CBR 1000 F.

Im looking forward to getting a few problems sorted out and enjoying my bike.

Is there not a parts for sale section here, because I need a few items to get started.

hey welcome to the forum, what kind of problems are you having? I havent checked recently but there's normally a decent amount of parts for sale in the classifieds.

Welcome!
We have a classified section. Also ask around the hurricane section, I'm sure they have many spares.

Where are you located?

Thanks for the reply.
The previous owner has made a mess of the wiring. He has by-passed the ignition switch with an on/off switch and while I was checking that out I found a few more less than desirable "repairs" you know the kind with household wire nuts or twisted connections with tape.

Anyway if I can find a harness I would like to start from scratch with it.

Thanks again.

I'm in Indiana.

I admit Im not the sharpest knife but I dont see a classified section.
Do I have to be here a certain length of time or have a certain number of posts?

Hey Hawkeye, welcome to the forum. I've posted in your other thread, but between all the keen CBR1000F owners on the forum, we should be able to service your needs or at least point you in the right direction.

Cheers, SB

oh wow got to love the "rigged" fixes. while looking over my cousins car we found bobby pins being used as cotter keys among a few other things. make you wonder what other crazy fixes people have on there stuff.
