Default New in Orlando area

I jumped right in with my electrical problem that I never officially said 'hello'. My girlfriend and I just got bikes - something that we figured would be fun on top of camping and generally running away for the weekend. I just got a 98 cbr f3 that I would love to actually get 100% running

I've been appraising cars for years, going to auctions and been in that 'world' for a while - but bikes I'm a total nOOb. My buddy who has a 1000rr is about the only help I have.

Looking forward to more lurking

cool bike, what did you girlfriend get? If you and her haven't taken a safety course already, it would make a good date to remember.

She got a suzuki gs500. We took the course at the local harley dealership a few weeks ago - we started the whole 'bike thing' by taking and passing the course. Besides being beyond frustrated a few times, it WAS fun.
