Default New to the Motorcycle scene

Ive always wanted a bike growing up but was not allowed to get one due to family and money issues. finally joined the club and bought a 93 cbr 600 f2 two days ago for 1200 usd with helmet and now im hooked. it needs some work but i love it, any and all help/tips would be most appreciated.

work needed:
new mirrors currently runnin blind
remount all plastics(currently zip-tied) thinkin bikebolts.com
new sprockets and chain thinkin rk gold chain and sprocket set
new exhaust yosh or v&h
tires corsa 3?
re-jet kit stage 1 dyno jet

Welcome Cardshark! I too have a 1993 F2 which is a great bike! (currently for sale in search of my next project though) From the looks of your name, are you in VA? Where abouts? I'm in Loudoun County (near dulles airport) and would love to lend a hand if you need it. Seems none of my friends share my motorcycle interests. (or at least their wives don't!)

Sounds like you got yourself a nice fixxer/upper for a great price!
Check out the F2 forum if you need any help on any of the mods/repairs yu need to do,lots of helpful guys there.
Post some pics when you can and ride safe!
