Joined this site several days ago. Really great site with good info. Just purchased a 2006 1000RR - Blue/Yellow. Previous bike was a 2003 gixxer 1000. Here's a photo of the new Honda.

Gotta say that I like the Honda better. Nothing wrong with Suzuki, but I like the Honda's better. Honda handles great, and Honda's attention to fit and finish on their bikes is #1.

At the level that I ride at, one bike vs. another won't make me significantly faster so for me it really came down to which bike did I think looks the best and to me that's clearly the Honda.

I've been riding for the past 18 years. Bike prior to the 2003 gixxer 1000 was a 2002 Honda 954.
