Hi all , thought I'd introduce myself. Stumbled across the forum during a random google search.

My name is Doog , I'm from Newcastle in the UK and I've recently purchased my first CBR.

She's a 2001 CBR600fs1 (or f4i in USA as I have recently discovered thanks to your site) and is in really good condition due to being a one owner bike and only covering 7000 miles from new.

I've known the bike from new as I bought her from a friend so I'm safe in the knowledge she has no shady history. lol

So far in the 4 weeks I've owned her I've fitted a rear hugger , airblade double bubble screen , a set of R&G crash posts and a rear seat cowl which I'm in the process of modifying as the quality of fit was simply terrible.

This is my first "proper" bike having only owned a Yamaha YZF R-125 prior to the CBR. My main passion before now was always cars , mainly BMW's and Cosworths.
I still have an E30 318is , an Escort RS Cosworth and a TVR 350 V8 powered toyota hilux in my fleet.


Anyway , sorry for long winded intro. I'll stop boring you all now and give you some pretty pictures to look at.

You're truck reminds me of a couple that I used to have. Great looking cars as well.

Many thanks for warm welcome guys. Been having a good browse of the site... love the layout , nice to have bike specific sections , makes finding info you need much easier.
