New member from Sweden (rhino94's old bike) !
Just wanna say hello !
Irecently bought me a CBR1000F -89 (white/blue)andit's a reallyfine bike to ride.
This forum looks like a really nice place to shareexperiences on.
Last Sunday i took the train to Borås to buy me a new ride. After some problemswith train delays and a buss that couldn't wait for me i had to call "rhino94" and he was kind enough to come and pick me up.
After the money and paperwork were done we were anxious to go riding the bikes. We took somegreat winding roads,he first me after(safer cause i've never ride there). After one hourridingwe were back at his place, sharing some experiences from the little trip it was time for me to headback home with my new bike(about 350 kilometers).I took it easyto Jönköping because of all the "speedcameras/radars" then it was 150-160 km/h all he way home to Eskilstuna, except for two stops to fill some fuel. The bike runs really smooth and that little higher windshield(is it called windshield in english...?)makes it a little easier to ride cause i'm 196 cm.
Back at Eskilstuna i had to go to one of the long and wide straight roads we have here that the military usesto land and start their airplanes on,they are long enough to test topspeeds at.So i got down behind the windshield and gave full throttle, the tachometer speeds up thru the gears and when it raises to 250 km/h i pulled off .It would have gone a bit faster, maybe 10-20-30 km/h more(at tachometer speed).I did'nt buy this bike to ride fast as a maniac but you have to try when you have the chance to make it on these military roads like i have.No i'm looking forward to go ride the winding roads with my friends and my girlfriend.
