Hey guys (and girls)

I'm new to the forum. I'm riding a 1989 CBR600F. Picked it up from the original owner with 22k miles, and in very good condition considering the age. I'm located in Salinas, CA (Bay Area)

This is my first motorcycle, and i'm loving it. Already put close to 3k on it in the last 2 months!

Looking forward to meeting you!

PS, how do I add pictures? it says I am not authorized..

-Bryan

Welcome to the forum Bryan.

Good to hear you are loving riding. Congrats on making the transition to 2 wheels.

Welcome to the CBR forum Bryan,

The CBR 600 is a great bike and if you look after it, it will look after you. And good on you for getting your first bike - it becomes very addicive as your 3000 miles in the last 2 months shows

There is a strong 600 membership on the forum who will be more than willing to help with any questions you have.

We look forward to pictures when you can post them.

Cheers, SB

That is a lovely, tidy bike - and a bargain at $1600 - well done Bryan!

You can use a number of programs to resize photos before posting them - I use a small program called Irfanview which can resize in batches. Let me know if you want more info.

I may not agree with all Clarkson says, but he is a genuinely funny man. I'm over in Vietnam at the moment riding Honda CB125e's with my partner - we will have done over 3,000 km by the time we get back to Ha Noi this afternoon. We grinned as stupidly as Clarkson did in the Top Gear Vietnam Special, over some of the passes, and much of the Ho Chi Minh Trail!

Cheers, SB
