Hi,
My names Dusty Wilde. I am a mechanic that has always had a dirt bike. The need for speed overcame me and I sold my CR250 to fund my turbo Silverado project.

The truck ran a best of 11.41 @119 while tipping the scales at over 5,000 pounds. With the new engine and S475 front mount turbo it was making an estimated 750-800 rwhp.

After my wife seen enough money "wasted" on the truck I convinced her to let me buy a street bike. This would be my first street bike, but I have had worked at a Honda shop all threw high school and collage so I was not new to the whole street bike scene.

I found a smokin deal on a 05 1000rr in Vegas. Flew down and rode it home (425 mile trip). I then found another CBR 1000rr (an 06 this time) that I could not pass up, the problem is the 06 was wreaked and needs a lot of work... Anyway here are some pictures of the two bikes.....

one of the small issues with the 06...

So, that is me, a younger family man that wants to take my love for speed and my street riding skills to the next level......

Hi Dusty and welcome to CBRF!
Dang, your Silverado is as fast as my F4i...almost identical E.T.s & trap speed (11.40 @ 122)
The 1000RR forum can help you out if you need a hand on either of yer 2 bikes
Thanx for the pics and enjoy the forum
