Welcome Dom!
To answer your question 'bout the fairings...
Yes the upper and lower appear to be from a F2 and the front fender.....can't tell where that came from[]

Thanks for the help! I am going to try and repair it and see if I cannot get it to fit a little better.

I got around to looking at the bike this weekend and found a little sticker on the frame that says "CBR600 FL" . I know there is F1 F2 F3 F4 and some others but what is the difference between an "FL" and a "F1"
Just want to get things straight when in search of parts.
Thanks for the help.

No difference.. "L" is just model number.

CBR600F H = 1987
CBR600F J = 1988
CBR600F K = 1989
CBR600F L = 1990

A 600 F1 is from 87-90

Find you Engine & Frame VIN, use that for ordering parts.

ENGINE VIN should be something like PC23E-21000** [fill in the *]
FRAME VIN: PC23*LM00000*

get what im saying.. get the exact number(s) and give it to the parts supplier for an exact match.
