New Member/Old Rider From Michigan
Greetings From the Wolverine State,
I just signed on as a new member and recently purchased a 2008 CBR 1000RR Red/Black.
I've been riding since 1970 and and, as most of you, have a passion for motorcycles.
I've been wanting to get a Sportbike since I rode a Ducati 1098 at the local Ducati dealer's Demo Days last year. I bought this Honda CBR, because of it's stellar reputation and of course that Honda reliability factor and also I'm kind of like a crow...I like shiny things.
Looks like a great forum and I'm also a member of the Stromtroopers website and do own a 2008 V-Strom DL-650.

Welcome to CBRF and congrats on your 1000RR!! You won't be disappointed. Great intro, one of the best in a long while, but you left out one important thing... PICS OF YOUR BIKE!!!
