Hi guys i just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. I am from Cincinnati, OH and im looking to get a cbr. I know there are probably hundreds of threads with new riders, but i just wanted to ask a few questions. I am seriously considering getting a bike in the next few months. I really want to start off with a 600cc bike but i have heard two sides to this. Some say start lower and move up. I would like to add i have no motorcyce experience at all. I have about four friends who are experienced riders. All which said they would help me and not rush me into things. I plan to take the course next month, but if i do start on a 600 is there a better and "easier" bike to learn on? Again sorry for all the questions but i just want to get all the knowledge i can before i make my purchase.

Very common concerns, and we have all been there. Any bike you get will take you straight to Heaven if you are not smart, alert, and understand your limitations. That being said, it is great that you have what sounds like a responsible group of friends. The F4i is one of the most versitile and comfortable bikes on the market, and would be a great choice. Of course I am biased (I have an '06). Make sure to get all your gear, good luck, and welcome to the site.
