Hey guys. Live here in Kansas city. Know where I can get a 05 600rr 6800 miles for 3500. Prior salvage however from fairings and headlight. Needs tires has exhaust and some other extras though. Should I mess with salvage or not

Welcome to the forum!

hmm Seems a little high for a salvage bike. I'd keep looking around.

I concur, price is a little high and salvage bikes can be decieving.
For a first bike, get something that is fairly stock and build your own history with it, instead of inheriting someone else's.

Now I'm torn between a 600rr and a 1000rr. This will be my first SPORT bike, Grew up on dirt bikes and Harley's so I know how to ride just never had a sport bike before. Do you guys think I will be happy with a 600 or should I go for a 1000?

99.9% of riders will never push a 600 so far they need more power of a 1000.

With that said, they have different characteristics so depends on what you like. I was looking for a 1k bike but found a deal too good to pass up on my 600.

try them all out if you can.

Well found me a 07 1000rr. Going to pick it up tomorrow. Getting a pretty good deal on so just decided to get a 1000 since the deal is good. First sport bike, not first bike. Pretty excited. I'm sure I'll throw up some pictures tomorrow.
