Hello everyone,
Just traded in my old BMW for an '02 954rr. The bike does have 20k miles on it but seems to be in fair condition. Shifts great, pulls strong.

This is my second motorcycle, first being an '07 R6 that I sold about 4 months ago to buy my dream car. As you can see, I couldn't go long without another bike and always wanted to try out a liter bike. I must admit - I didn't do as much research about the 954 as I would have liked but it does seem to be a very nice bike. As small as the R6 was, the 954 didn't feel "that much bigger".

Anyways, I will add some pictures tonight so you all can check it out. Just wanted to inroduce myself and see if anyone had any suggestions for me as to things to check up on the bike. Are there any "weak" areas on the bike that I should give more attention to? Thanks in advance guys and looking forward to gaining more knowledge and experience with the CBR.

welcome to the forum. 954 is a great bike; and 20k is still young.

Welcome to CBRF, Putin. The 954 is a great bike. There aren't any real weak spots or anything so long as the bike has been maintained. Make sure the oil level is good.

Thank you for a warm welcome guys. Sorry didn't get a chance to get a pic up last night. Here is one though. Not great quality but at least something to look at.

Welcome, I am sort of new myself and I have had nothing but nice helpful members. The bike looks great and hope she makes you happy for years to come. I have been told one of the weaker spots is the lack of a stabilizer but that is not to major.

I get 18 - that I can see

6 on the rear pusher, two main wheels on the bike and one trainer wheel,
4 motorcycle wheels, 1 car wheel, and 4 wheels on the pusher behind the CBR.

Any more?

Great that new members can post such a challenging photo!

Cheers, SB
