Hey everyone,
I just bought my first bike this week. A new silver 07 CBR1000RR!!! I love it, just wish i could ride it. Winter weather in the midwest . I can't wait for it to warm up though. I've been in my garage sitting on it everyday with a stupid-assed grin on my face. At least that gets me through for now. I'll be looking forward to the information you all share.

Welcome to the forums. I'm just alittle north of you in Nebraska. We're dealing with the same snowy weather and temperature that rarely seem to get above 20 degrees.

I'm in St. Louis and kicking myself today for not riding to work. Just went outside and it's 45 degrees! Plenty warm enough to ride.

+1 on posting up some pics so we can see what your baby looks like.

 

I've ridden before, just never owned one. I'll post pics as soon as the weather breaks and i can get a few decent ones. Thanks for the welcome everyone.

 

Where in KC? I'm local as well... Have you checked out kcsportbike.com or maximumkc.com yet? Nice bike, and i'm with ya, can't wait until the snow melts...

I live down by Bannister (suburb of the ghetto...). Definitely check out www.kcsportbike.com. We get together every month and just hang out at Lees Summit Side Pockets. Whe the weather gets a little nicer, we get together in small groups and ride, pretty much every night of the week...
