He guys. I am new to this forum and just wanted to say whats up. I just bought a 2005 CBR 1000RR. I wasnt real sure about it because this is going to be my first "crotch Rocket". LOL I have riden a street bike before but nothing like this. And I was about 16 when I did that. But I got a good deal on the bike so I figured I would give it a try. I paid $8300 for it and it only has 1800 miles on it and still looks like new. I am going to pick up the bike tomorrow sometime. I dont PLAN to stunt the bike or anything anytime soon. I read alot on here and know I have to respect the bike. My cousin rides a R6 and have seen him act a fool.LOL But I know better. But anyway, talk to you guys later.

 

Welcome, make sure you take a MSF class, and take it slow untell you learn your bike, a 1000rr is a powerful bike and will not think twice about kicking your a$$ off.
