Hi DaveK, welcome to the forum.

Please give us a bit more info about you and your bike (pictures would also be great)and we can go from there.
To be honest from the way you have it currently described I can not recognise the bike.

Cheers
Al

Thanks for the reply mate. She’s a cbr 2008 f6 which is on the log book. But I can not find parts and stuff for that shape in that year. I’ve been told it may be a 2006 shape that was just registered in 2008.

No worries, thanks for the pics, nice looking machine.
You do indeed have the last of the 'old style' bananna seat CBR600F's she is a 2006 model as that is the last year that particular bike (F4i in the USA) was produced.
It was then registered in 2008 which is a bit strange, but does happen, are you on an 06 plate as sometime they went back to year of manufacture not the registration for the plate?
From a UK perspective the model run was 2001 - 2006 so the vast majority of parts are interchangeable, I do know some firms only list up to 2002 or 2004 for parts but they will fit. The only real difference is the removal of the adjustable forks for the UK after c. 2004 (cheapskates) and of course the paint schemes.

You’re a lifesaver mate!! Can finally get some parts ordered, finally a gear indicator 😂

She is an 08 plate, which was throwing off my searches and coming up empty

Glad to help, was not sure with the plate when DVLA started to match the year of manufacture to the plate. When I imported my 06 F4i from the states in 2017, they gave me an 06 plate, hence the question.

How long have you had, how many miles etc. Where are you in sunny... not so much Blighty?
