Hey guys

Im Marcus from Hamilton ON (near Toronto), and at the end of last season i bought my first bike a 97 CBR 600 f3. It was the same bike my dad had, which i was only able to ride on once before he passed in 2000... Been chasing the thrill ever since. Now 21, working and in college, im able to join life on 2 wheels. I know I'm a rook with a 600 but i have nothing but respect and love for my beast, as its more than just a motorcycle to me. Ive gotten a tonne of info from this site in the past, so im excited to join the fam and share my experiences with yall.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Marcus,

Sorry to hear of your dad's passing but happy that you are riding a similar bike to that which he rode. Be safe out there and wear all the safety gear.

We like our members to be around for a long time!

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF!

I'm really sorry to hear that your father has passed away so early in your life - but it is very cool that you ride the same bike he did. Motorcycling is a very personal activity, it's a part of you - I bet he'd get a kick out of you riding the same bike he did. I look forward to seeing you on the forums.

Welcome mate. You can bet he is smiling up there watching you. He will forever be your guardian. Be safe out there. Anything you need just post it up and the site will take care of it. Cheers.
