Default New member In Australia with a problem

Hi all, Im in Brisbane Australia and just got a 06 cbr rr track bike and found that it is an import from japan and is restricted to 11,000 rpm and im not happy bout it. Has anyone had this problem and how do i sort it? Im thinking its just the ecu that needs to be changed but my local bike mechanic says the harness is different to Aussie model. Any ideas? Cheers Shane.

What's up rgvshane, congrats on the bike. A race bike with an 11K RPM limiter? ...that's messed up, lol. I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of it. Be safe.
