Hello,
My name is Chip. I am almost 50 years old. I started riding a Suzuki GT750 2 stroke water buffalo back in 1980, then a Kawasaki 1000 LTD. I have not ridden since 1985 and recently purchased a 1996 Honda CBR 1000F. I have been reading these forum threads for a while now and decided to join as I have many Questions and some answers as I do95% ofthe repair work on all of the vehicles I have ever Owned, including my wife's and kids's.

Hello chip and welcome to the forum! make sure to check out the 1000f section. There are a few people on here who ride that model so you shouldnt have too many problems getting your questions answered. look around, come back, post often

Come on down to the Hurricane section, where big boys ride heavy toys !
There're stacks of hints, tips, guidelines available for the asking, and if you need a manual, just look below and download one. There's also some good reading at

Thanks to DragonCBR for the link
Enjoy !
I see Tex Skywalker and Classic're at it again - It's a bit early for a war, so I'll leave them be.....until later.....
