Its actually my 3rd bike. I had an 07 Suzuki Vstrom DL650 and then an 07 Yamaha FZ6.

Been riding for about 3 years now on the street but have been on two wheels since I was 3, with BMX, mountain biking, and motocross.

You will def enjoy your F4i. Its an all-around great bike. The riding position is relaxed enough to ride around town or on sport-touring type rides, or for riding the twisities.

I'd recommend if you plan on riding track/trackdays, that you either get yourself some rearset-risers or adjustable rearsets. A basic set of rearset-risers via ebay run about $40 & are well worth it. They'll raise the pegs up about an inch & also move them to the rear about an inch. This adjustment will allow you to get lower in the corners w/o scraping peg.

Welcome to the forum! Beautiful machine; yellow has got to be my favourite paint job colour for a bike

No, No, No (LOL) You've got it all wrong, it's the color that's the best! And if you must pick a year, maybe 2002?

My bad, I see them now for 45.99 buy it now. Thanks a lot for the advice, I think I'm gonna go for them as a cheaper alternative to new rearests!

Sure thing. Yeah, the risers are a reasonable alternative to the costly rearsets...they just don't allow for more adjustability like rearsets. You can always upgrade later.
