Hello,
Just came across this forum the other week. Up to now, I hadn't found a good website for CBRs. (Guess they are too trouble-free) I have a 1998 Red/Black F3 which I bought new in 98. It's stock and pretty good that way, for my purposes. It's my first and only bike. I use it primarily for commuting, and when I'm lucky I can go on a weekend day ride (very busy with 2 kids). I live in the south bay part of the SF Bay Area and ride with the Peninsula Red Riders when I get a chance. And yes, there are 40 and 50-somethings that ride sportbikes. Did anyone ever do an age breakdown of the forum members? That would be interesting.

welcome norm! wow, a 98 you've had since new? that's great! not too many people hang on to their bikes that long nowadays. and yes i do believe there is a "what's your age?" thread. check in the "off topic" section. you might have to go a few pages back. also, i ride with a guy in his 50's (has a 06 Gsxr 600) and he's a damn good rider!
