Hi there, just joined, my name is Ted. I'm a gearhead new to streetbikes been riding dirtbikes most my life been riding street only about a year (waited until my sons both turned 18) I came here to learn about my machine (03' CBR600rr) & also to learn the ins and outs of street riding and safety / fun & maybe more from some seasoned vets like yourselves. So here is a pic of my

03' CBR600rr
bike I took yesterday. Looking forward to another great year full of riding.

Thanks, I really like it allot, wishing for a little bit more low end torque, I really don't need to be riding top speed so wanting to change the gear ratio but its good for now. How about you?

I haven't gotten mine on the road yet it needs a harness but I have been on a 08 600rr and was happy with it.. my last bike was a gsxr750 so I'm sure I'll be wanting more power right away, but they say the CBR is a lot more agile with the turns

Well I personally wouldn't know I ride a 300xc KTM (2stroke) mostly so the street bike thing is different and so is the power band. However if I put too many heavy groceries in my back pack with a down shift to pass a car she rides wheelies a little too easy soo I will spend some time getting used to this bike In as many different situations possible. What kind of harness are you looking for to get your ride on the road?

I need the whole MAIN harness... Someone before me decided to play surgeon with the harness and screwed it all up I can probably repair it myself but I don't want all the headache and heartache that comes with that so I'm deciding to just replace the whole thing

Make sure you get brand-new factory OEM harness from authorised Honda dealer with warranty. Otherwise, anything used will most likely be damaged and you'll have to face tonne of repair work just like you're dealing with now.
