How do folks. New to this forum. AS you can see, I have recently bought a CBR 1000FK, 89model, but um.... it doesn't look quite like it did when it rolled out of Mr Honda's factory. Here for tips and technical stuff as hope to rebuild it in the future.

Welcome to the forum with a very interesting version of the CB thou and another UK member!
What frame did you manage to squeeze the engine into, which swing arm is that?

The frame is actually the original frame with a top tube done with ships bar, about 4mm thickness, then the wrap around frame and rear sub frame removed. Mounts welded to top bar for Harley tanks. Custom rear sub frame, rear mudguard, seat and side panels. Rear foot pegs are off an Aprilia (I think). The wheels, forks (fit straight into the CBR yokes) and swingarm are VFR 750. The front brakes are VTR1000. Rear shock is CBR1000F as VFR one was too long. Ram air filters, standard idle jets, 150 mains. Exhaust is standard downpipes, cut an shut at the back of the collector box and a single pipe extended out, so I guess it is now a 4 - 2 - 1. Apart from the fuelling issue (which is relatively new), this bike has run well in this configuration for some 20 years now.
