I'm a new member. I live in Gig Harbor Washington. I have owned a CBR1000 Hurricane for over twenty years. I haven't started it up in eight yrs. it's a long story but need to know about the fuel pump and it's relay. I have the real Honda shop but it seems to not mention much about it. I could use some help on this subject. Thanks

Welcome to CBRF... There is quite a Cane following here... Pop over to the saloon... They should be able to sort you out... Good luck...

Simple just head south to the CBR past models... Then turn left and look for the Hurricane Saloon in the sub sections... Then put a kick stand down and head on in... Watch your step though, quite a rowdy lot in there...

Welcome to the CBR Forum Wrecksman,

Rydna is correct! Mosey on into the Hurricane Saloon and say Hi.

The fact that you use the term Hurricane with respect to your CBR1000F and state it has a fuel pump means it is an 87/88 Mark 1 model. A lot of the guys have completely removed the fuel pump and rely on gravity feed for fuel. This involves some minor rerouting of pipes. Sprock would be your best bet for a detailed answer.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to the forum. I hope you get your bike road ready in no time. As other suggested, get to the 'cane section on the site - and they will hook you up. They're a great group of guys. Stick around and enjoy the forum.
