Hello everyone, new member here from Syracuse NY. Just purchased myself a 98 CBR600 F3 with 8900 miles. I will most likely be posting quite a bit here as I'll be doing some work to the bike. I'm replacing all the fairings because the previous owner figured he was a "master painter" and killed it as well as over-spraying the gauges, engine, master cylinder etc...

Hello. welcome to cbrf!! Are you going to school there? one of our members was attending university. He has graduated and went back home already though.

You will have fun cleaning up the messy paint over spray

Welcome, you will find all the info you need here. Fish in Oswego every year, it is great country up there, but the SNOW!!!!!!

Welcome... I to know your pain when it comes to previous owners thinking they can paint lol. I have to replace my fairings as well. Im just happy he was smart enough to paint them off the bike though lol. Again welcome to the club

Born and raised right here in Syracuse lol, I live in one of the more quiet suburbs. I've got most the repainting done. Also I found out turtlewax headlight restorer works amazing for taking the paint off the gauges and getting them crystal clear. Ill take more pics once the weather clears up but here's a few
