Hi, well as the title says I am a new member. Stevie from Glasgow, Scotland I have recently purchased a CBR1000F, 1993. In my opinion so far it is 10x better than my Kawasaki GPZ900R. After checking all the safety basics I have given the CBR a couple of good long runs as well as through town, and all I can say is faultless. Well when I say faultless I do have a slight issue with going into corners, roundabouts. But I still have to look at adjusting rear susoension etc and it does have a 190x50x17 rear tyre, so no standard there. Anyway, looking forward to getting to know other CBR riders and picking up some tips etc.

Cheers for now
Stevie

Welcome to the forum and the cbr. The hurricane section will tell you everything you ever wanted to know and then some. The saloon over there can be quite entertaining at times. Stop by and say hi....

Welcome to CBRF Stevie!

Of course the CBR is better! ;-) Glad you are enjoying it. Once you get the suspension sorted for your style of riding, you'll be good to go.

Glasgow, awsome.

Definately oversized on that rear tire which would most likely effect its handling, ride height and even possibly the overall balance. Take it easy till you get it sorted out and welcome aboard. Get you an album started and some pics up so we can see what you got !
