Hello everybody,

My name is John and I'm new to the forum. I've been riding my used 2003 CBR 954 for a while now. I noticed yesterday a red light on my dashboard started blinking and remained on. Coincidentally, the performance of my CBR was diminishing. When I throttled the motorcycle, I felt no increase in speed. I did notice my RPM rev high though, but no response in speed and performance. I'm not sure if this is because of the clutch slipping or any other type of issue. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
John

Welcome CBRF John!

Sorry you're having the issue(s) w/ your 954. Perhaps post your specific questions in the 954 section or General Tech for more views & help w/ answers.

Good luck getting everything sorted.

Welcome!

More than likely the red light is an overheat or (hopefully not) a low oil light.. The clutch slipping is hopefully due to improper cable adjustment. Check out the more specific section below though, they would know best.
