whaz up...iam new to the forum...i been ridin for about the past ten years now off and on...jus for fun.i luv bikes..the smell of burnt rubber, and anything that goes fast.i jus got a 93 caine 1000f a couple of months ago, from a dealer auction.i myself am a used car dealer...the salvation army was the seller,so i guess the money went to a good cause.anyway she was in bad health.the bike look as if it had been outside for a couple years..but when i heard her fire up....oh boy..she ran for bout 30sec.i paid 750 for her.bike was complete tho.i remember back in the dayz i use to hear stories about hurricaines..an i always wanted one.i wasnt leavin that auction without her.so i got her home..so far ive changed chain, rear sprocket, rear tire, rear brakes...she was running awful..carbs needed to be clean did it myself shop wanted 450 labor plus parts lol yea rite..i had to do it twice plus put sum used intake boots on i cracked the others.iam gonna do most of the work myself dont hav money to pay a shop.since i can turn a wrench a lil.it seems that upgrades for this bike r hard to find.were r they?all my plastic is good wow. she runs good now.
