Hi, Robert from Oceano. I bought a 96 CBR900RR last week. 7000 original miles. I was looking at ZX-10's, SV1000's, Z-1000's, the ole lady wanted me to buy a new ZX-10, but I was hesitant to have that many payments, plus the fact that I have a felony speeding ticket from about 5 years ago. Insurance would be a bitch, to say the least. Besides, this 900 came along with low mileage, absolutely cherry condition, and the price was right. It will be paid off in a year or so.

Personal, 44 years old, married, 2 kids, aerospace/aircraft machinist, have a serious motorcycle obsession. So do most of the people I work with.

Previous rides include an 01 1200 Bandit, Triumph 955 Daytona, CBR1000F, SV650, I put a ton of miles on my brothers ZRX 1200, which by the way, is an excellent bike. It would flat smoke my Bandit. Kawasaki Triples, Suzuki GS's, 1000, and 1100, a bunch of dirt bikes, a Bultaco 360 Astro flat tracker (never finished a race on that bike), there are a whole bunch that I can't recall right now. Oh yeah, Honda F-models, too, 900's. And I just sold a GS500E.

 

welcome to the forum! i guess it's safe to say you've been around a few bikes i like the z1000's. not many people do but i like 'em for some reason. a buddy of mine has an orange one. i also ride with a guy who's got a daytona 955i... nice bike.
