Talking New kid in Colorado

Greetings to all! I have just entered the realm of true sport bikes with the purchase of a 93 CBR1000F. A lot went into the decision to get this one,I have a Concours that is still good after a 10 year relationship, but the test ride blew me away and I was very casual with this machine! I will add that I did some homework by checking this site which helped decide . Only had it two days and with job being what it is and rain every day we havent gotten aquainted yet, I took vacation next week and after an oil change,wash/wax/ and general checkup maintenance plan to spend most of the week in the Colorado mountains .....Looking forward to both this forum and next week on my new(to me) hurricane !

Welcome to the forums, grendl!
Congrats on the new ride, you got a great bike right there...

Feel free to spend some more time over in the Hurricane section. We're easy enough folks to get along with, and can answer any questions you may have.

You're gonna have a blast tearing through the mountains on her next week. Take some pics if you get the chance... we'd love to see 'em.
Take care and Ride Safe!!

Hey there Grendl, congrats on the new bike. Kinda weird the weather we've been having this Summer, but it beats having 100˚ + heat, lol. Check out Colorado Sporbike Club if you get the chance. See you in the canyons.
Welcome to CBRF

I'm jealous of all you CO folks. No canyons in mid-west for me...
