Thumbs up New to the Hondas! Lovin' them though

Hey guys,
I am new to Honda's and the site. I ride a 2001 CBR 600 F4i, its the first Honda motorcycle I have ever owned. It is a blast to ride my fiance' is in love as well. I recently owned a Harley Sportster that was handed down to me after my uncle was killed in a motorcycle accident. It was a 96 Sportster 883, My uncle was an avid rider and had just about everything that could be put on it screamin' eagle. He had a screamin' eagle big bore kit, Carb, plugs, etc... He had all that done after getting smoked off the line by my dads 1200. lol I will post pics of the Harley as well as my bike as soon as I get some free time. I work on cars any time I get a chance, bikes are sorta new to me but they have wheels therefore I am good at working on them also. I will be posting a question that I have about my F4i so if any of you Proven Members are reading this check it out please and see if you can shed some light on my problem. Its had me going in circles!!!!! < This guy seemed appropriate for the statement! lol

Thanks guys!
Darrell

Thanks! sorry I was trying to keep it as short as possible and forgot to put that I didn't. My parents had the bike stored for me and decided to sell it without my approval. Needless to say I was pissed!!! But it went to help my grandmother but it still upsets me! < Sentimental reasons >

Welcome aboard Darrell.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. Sound like you keep his memory alive thru motorcycling.

Congrats on your F4i. They are great bikes. There are lots of helpful members here, so if you are having any issues w/ your CBR, post 'em up & hopefully you'll get the help you need.

Thanks I really appreciate that! I really do keep his memory alive by riding though..... Seems like he's with me when I ride. My family has not had the greatest luck with motorcycles though my dad was in an accident before my uncle was killed that messed him up pretty bad, so I can use an extra gaurdian angel while I am riding! I am loving this forum BTW I posted a problem that I am having with my F4i right now three days ago, I have had a ton of replys from members with very helpful suggestions. A lot better than fireblades.org!!!!

Thanks,
Darrell
