Default New here from San Diego

The name's Garrett. I don't have a bike yet, and have never ridden anything more powerful than my old GT BMX, but am simply here to absorb the culture and knowledge of riding and terminology.

I have a few friends who have been riding for years, one of whom has been through two Yamaha's (600 and liter) and just purchased a GSXR 750. I'm thinking more of a CBR for myself, sometime around this september when the prices drop a bit.

Anyway, I'll be asking a ton of questions so I hope everyone here likes answering them.

Hello Black96SVT, maybe while you're waiting/saving up, you can take the MSF course. Don't forget to include riding gear as part of your bike purchase. Let us know how it goes.
Welcome to the forum

Thanks! I looked at the course and there's a center not ten minutes from my apartment. Will definitely take a beginner course for now and probably the advanced course in a year or so.
