Default New guy from PA Philly suburbs

Although this isn't my first post, I just figured I'd make an official "I'm a n00b so don't listen to me" post.

I'm new to motorcycling in general, just picked up my first bike. 1994 600 F2. I picked it up for $700, no plastics and ghettoed to hell. So far I've pretty much rewired the entire bike, but mechanically it's actually really sound. Runs great and feels solid.

I bought all the gear except for pants so far (which I'll be getting shortly), all Alpinestars. I've read the horror stories about this sport, so full gear was a no brainer for me! It's not leather but it works well (and I've already tested that fact, lol).

And before anyone asks, I just finished my MSF course today and officially am licensed. Can't wait to really get out there a lot more this summer! So far it's been a blast!

Howdy from West Philly / University City! Now ya know that the manufacturers test the gear right? I mean you're not supposed to if you can avoid it

If you're buying gear here, check out Revzilla. They have a store at Front & Jackson in South Philly. Good luck getting her back in shape.

Holla if you need help

Welcome to the forum, man. The mechanical end of things is the important part.... all the rest is just extra.
Congrats on the license and try to keep from scuffing that gear too bad.
