New Guy
Hey everybody, i'm new here. Im 19, from Chicago. I've been into cars since I could read, but just last summer I took a ride on my buddies Honda 599, and now i NEED a bike. I figure a CBR F3 is a good place to start, i've taken a motorcycle safety course (Ride-Chicago) and have all the safety stuff, helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, pants, i'm eager to start riding! However, I swear i'll try not to be that guy that gets a crotch rocket and in the first week ends up wrecking because he couldn't take it easy.
anyway, I have my eye on a 95' CBR. It's clean, but it has 38k miles. Is that just too much for a bike? Let's assume that it was well taken care of by its previous owner, is that still too many miles for a bike? I'm sure the legendary build quality of Hondas is present in the motorcycle division, but i'm just curious. Thanks!!
