Default New Guy

Hey everybody, i'm new here. Im 19, from Chicago. I've been into cars since I could read, but just last summer I took a ride on my buddies Honda 599, and now i NEED a bike. I figure a CBR F3 is a good place to start, i've taken a motorcycle safety course (Ride-Chicago) and have all the safety stuff, helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, pants, i'm eager to start riding! However, I swear i'll try not to be that guy that gets a crotch rocket and in the first week ends up wrecking because he couldn't take it easy.

anyway, I have my eye on a 95' CBR. It's clean, but it has 38k miles. Is that just too much for a bike? Let's assume that it was well taken care of by its previous owner, is that still too many miles for a bike? I'm sure the legendary build quality of Hondas is present in the motorcycle division, but i'm just curious. Thanks!!

Welcome to the boards I`m sure theres alot of fun headed your way, If it was taken care properly and there is a full service record with the bike then it would all come down to how much it was up for.

Hope you find something you like, be sure to get some pics up when you do.

hello and welcome to the site! as anubis stated, as long as proper maintainence was performed and the price is right, there is nothing wrong with a high milage bike.

It's from a dealer - Road, Track & Trail. They want 2700 for it. It has a Two Brothers racing pipe. Here is a pic:
