hey what going on everyone..just bought my first street bike i cant wait to take it out in the spring i live in nh and i had dirtbikes when i was younger ..but anyway this is my first street bike im excited let me know if i got a deal ...the only damage it has is to the tail ..right around the tail light the plastic is broken im sure someone 12ed it and broke that ..but the taillight and the mount are fine...other than that the bike is in great shape ...it has chrome rims chrome crank case cover and chrome swingarm...it has a twoBrothers carbon fiber slip on ...or at least i think its a slip on...its a 1998 cbr600f3 with 17k on it ..im not really worried about the body damage to the tail because ..well i find a lot of deals and i used to work at an autobody shop so im a feal diy person ...i picked the bike up for 1500.00 and the guy is letting me make payments...ill put some pics and let me know what you think ..thanks and its nice to be on the forum ..also hows everyone loving the f3's

 

You know i used to think i got a good deal on my bike and reading stuff like this makes me realize what a rip off i bought.

Anyways that sounds like an amzing deal. I paid the same for mine and it is way worse than yours. Alot better now though.

i know i would love to take it out now ..the only problem is that i can accually take it untill its paid off ...so sometime in november prob i plan on making more payments than i have too...but thats ok ..i love diy projects and i tink im going to start searching for some beatup f4i fairing to do the front end swap...i love the back of the bike ..but i love the front of the f4i's..so it should keep me busy..is anyone here from te nh area...do people get together and ride??

 

Grrr.... you gonna make me rent a garage to paint my bike. She looks shabby enough in person. But then I come here everyday that makes me want to hide my F3
